Re: Play VOB/DVD on the Pi

Thank you both for the reply. @ghans, i don't think any protection was removed. I used dvd shrink and it created the usual folder structer ( audio and video folder with multiples vob files) and it should work like you said, but i just didn't know if xbmc could work as a dvd player software. I will t...

Re: Pi With XBMC Doesnt Show On Win Network

Thanks for help!
I installed Firezilla and finally manage to log on into the Pi. I don't understand why it would stop showing up though, especially because the streaming is working fine. Well, i can still use it this way and that is what matters.
Thanks!

Re: Seal Broken - What should I do?

Thanks for the help! I don't have the board with me now but next time i use it i will check out to confirm if its the newer version. I just received my second Pi order from RS and my case also had the same problem seal broken. RaspberryPi as media server with xbmc - Possible?

Hello. I bought one raspberrypi board and the use i wanted to give to it was to use as a server to share a hard drive in a network, especially for media files but i was wondering if i could give it more use than just that. Re: Order and Shipping update from RS & Allied

Got a code 2 days ago from RS to buy a Pi ( this one will be for my dad) and i got 12 weeks of expected delivery. Now thats a long time =/ is anyone getting the same time also? Is there any good chance that number would go down? Because with 12 weeks only in September the Pi would arrive.

No one? Hasn't anyone had this problem or know what can it be? Is it a problem from the hdmi cables ( tested 2 that work fine with other devices), a problem from my TV or is the actual Pi board?

Re: Cheap Remote Control - Would this work on the Pi?

I don't think my Tv has CEC unfortunately. I looked at that remote also on dealextreme, looks similar to the one i posted so it would probably work. But now i wonder, should i just get the remote for xbmc or should i invest some more and get a small wireless keyboard like this : http://www.ebay.co.u...

Re: OpenELEC meets Raspberry Pi - part 1 (XBMC)

So do you. Its starting to seem more complicated than it is,but at the same time i do like to play around this kind of stuff. In the PI i could test everything better, probably 2 more weeks of waiting ( no more word from RS since i made the purchase). I wanted to have things prepared to when the ras...
