Re: Kodi 15 Packages for Raspbian Wheezy & Jessie for RPi2

rpi- update gets a testing kernel and is not required unless stated that it fixes a issue you have, best to go back to a stable Kernel ;) ;) Well keeping a stable kernel too long not updated can lead to security vulnerabilities - better a little unstable than not secure... For now it works perfect ...

Re: Kodi 15 Packages for Raspbian Wheezy & Jessie for RPi2

Hello, Thank for releasing a compiled package of Kodi 15 for Raspbian ! I'm new to Raspberry and Raspbian, I've bought a RPI2 last week and I have a fresh install of Raspbian Jessie. I've first installed Kodi 14, and I got the so famous black screen issue on exit. So I followed your instructions an...

Re: Kodi 15 for Raspbian Wheezy & Jessie for RPi2

In the tar.gz files there are .deb files. Thank you very much ! You can help the server by making torrents for the .tar.gz with public or your server trackers and let us download the .torrent files instead. A magnet link would mean no server is needed but the torrent would be lost at zero seeders. U...

Re: Request for better sound card support

I experimented and found how to lower the background noise of the analog sound. Looking at the Raspberry Pi schematics I see that all sound related components are powered from the 3.3 V rail. Adding more capacitors between the 3.3 V and ground is the way to go because the 3.3 V stabilizer has noise ...
