Re: Installing TPLINK TL-WN8200ND v.2 in Raspberry Pi3

So I was able to complete the instructions, but the pi doesn't connect with the TL-WN8200ND plugged in. It's not the v2 version, but I got the impression that the above driver was for either. I get a series of green flashes on the status light of the device, but no connection to my router until I p...

Re: New Raspbian release 8th April 19

Thanks guys! Link to release notes should be added to DOWNLOADS page as well (https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspbian/) , then I could have figured out myself. There is a link to the release notes on that page. As an example for Raspbian Stretch with desktop:- Raspbian Stretch with desktop I...

Hi MrEngman I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I keep getting errors. I have copied all of your text but no success. Can you post the errors here? Would be helpful. However, I've just noticed an error in the commands to install the driver, so the error could be due to that. I have corrected the ...

Re: Driver installation impossible? RTL8812AU

I used the github source suggested by sealy_au - https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au MrEngman Thank you. This source is highly customized for aircrack. Has logging and access to /proc disabled etc.. For 8812au I would suggest more generic one from https://github.com/zebulon2/rtl8812au-driver-5...

Re: Driver installation impossible? RTL8812AU

MrEngman - I have noticed that you have upgraded 8812au drivers to v5.2.20.2_28373.20180619. And finally my TP-Link -T4UHv1 seems to be stable on ac 5GHz channels. I have been fighting with ac stability for quite long trying multiple github sources. The best results I had were with v5.2.20_25672.20...

Re: (UPDATE) Drivers for TL-WN725N V2 - 3.6.11+ -> 4.xx.xx+

Hi Dimension02000, Looks like @Fruitoftheloom has explained the issue using BerryBoot. Using NOOBS or PINN will allow you to install multiple OS's and choose which one to run at boot. They install the basic Raspbian OS's and others you may want to install but may need an internet connection, possibl...

Greetings All, MrEngman, i noticed in this thread you mention the source you use for building your drivers in your installer, which BTW I love, use it for my trl8192EU all the time, however as the driver for the rtl8812 your building off doesn't support injection or changing the tx power via "iw wl...

Re: RPI3B+ firmware update problem

I have no idea why that folder has aufs on the end, you must be using a custom built kernel. In which case, I have no idea how to help you, except to say reflashing your SD crd with the latest Raspbian is probably the easiet way to a working system. i try another raspbian installation with the same...

I do question the potential longevity of the solution though due to the script looking for updates at startup. Perhaps I didn't find an already ex...

Re: mt760lu_mcu_wait_resp retrying

Power issues can be caused not just by a PSU that cannot supply sufficient current, but also if the cable connecting the PSU to the Pi is too thin. In this case as the current increases the voltage drop over the power cable will increase and can cause power problems. A similar issue can be caused if...
